A Chinese pub with a great Hong Kong vibe
Euljiro Julia
There’s a unique Chinese pub in Euljiro with a distinct Hong Kong red lantern vibe. I searched for and visited Euljiro Julia to have a delicious and enjoyable time with a friend I hadn’t seen in a while.
It’s always hard to get a seat, so even though I tried to go early, I still had to wait a bit to get in. There aren’t many tables, so you really have to go early.
Our drink of choice was Yantai Kaoliang, which has a very rich aroma. We started by ordering a large bottle.
The first dish that came out was the ‘Chashu Platter.’ It was tender and delicious chashu.
The next dish was ‘Guobaorou.’ It was crispier and more delicious than the guobaorou we’re typically used to.
This was the last dish, but I can’t quite remember its name. 😅 I recall it having a spicy kick that paired perfectly with the Yantai Kaoliang.
We ran out of alcohol and ordered another small bottle, but ordering a large one from the start would have been better value for the price.
